2. A “Create New Task” pop-up box will appear. Type “explorer.exe” (without the quotes) and click “OK”.

Step 1: Press Win + R and type “regedit” (without the quotes) then hit Enter to pen the registry editor.

Step 2: Navigate to the following key from the left side of the registry editor.

Step 3: Right-click on the key Shell and click on New > Key.

Give the name of the key as “Restart Windows Explorer”.

Step 4: Again right-click on the recently created key “Restart Windows Explorer” and click on New > Key to create another key under it. Give the key name as “command”.

Step 5: Keep the key “command” selected and then double click on (Default) from the right-side pane.

Step 6: Type the following statement at the “Value data” field and click OK.
